Website Settings: Business Information

This page hosts all your basic business information and can be used as a template or page tags across your website to easily pre-fill content with your information, keeping your core information easily managed in one location. This information will also be used in the Structured Data from your website which feeds into your SEO rankings and Google's Knowledge Panel (you will need to have a Google My Business account to verify the information). To view the template tags select the checkbox in the information section, as these are hidden by default.

Once you have made your change click Update Business Details to save.
This page information includes:
- Business Trading Name
- Business Legal Name (for if its legal name is different to its trading name)
- Business Identifiers, such as the Company or Charity Number, and the VAT Number
- Business Subheading/Tagline/Slogan
- Business Description, a maximum length of 155 characters
- Business Type- use the dropdown menus to select the correct business type. These categories are predefined by schema.org for SEO purposes. If you can’t find your business type, select the most accurate one, or just use the Local Business option.
- Organisation/Business Details
- People- This allows you to centralise the information you would like to display for staff or founders to go on the website. Simply fill out their Employment type, name, job title, and a small bio and add a picture then click Add new Person.
- Business Address- You can choose to have no physical address if this is applicable, otherwise, this will create a Google map of your business address.
- You can configure the map to your settings, and even include a custom caption
- Opening Hours- Select one of the top options, or toggle the days to change from an Open to Close status. When a day is set to open, you can enter the opening hours into the text boxes.
- Special Hours- Similar to opening hours you can select the days you will be open/closed and enter your opening hours into the text boxes.
- Amenities- Select the amenities that are available at the business, and create your custom amenities if they don’t exist in the default options.
Once you have made your change click Update Business Details to save.
