eCommerce Connect: Facebook

This guide will help you to connect your eCommerce module to a Facebook page shop. Please note that Facebook may change their interface at any time, and these guides are correct as of May 2022.

First, go to the Facebook page you want to connect to, and that you are an admin of.

In the sidebar, click on the "Manage Shop" option:

Next, click on the "Add Product" button:

In the top right, click on the blue "Add Items" button and select the "Add Multiple Items" option from the drop-down menu:

Next, select the "Data Feed" option and click "next":

On the next page, select the "yes" option and click "next":

When prompted on how to create your data feed, select "Use a URL" and then paste in your data feed URL copied from the eCommerce Connect page, and click "next":

The next section will ask you how often you want Facebook to check your data feed. This will depend on how often you update or add products to your eCommerce shop. Whichever frequency you choose, make sure the time is set to just after midnight as that is when your data feeds are automatically updated with any changes:

On the final step, all you need to do is select the currency you are using in the shop and then click the "Save Feed and Upload" button to finish!

Once this is saved, Facebook will being to upload and process all your products so they can be displayed on your Facebook page shop tab.

When this is finished and you are happy, click on the "Overview" tab on the sidebar, and then click on the "Publish Shop" button to make the shop live on your Facebook page:
