eCommerce: Shop Settings> Postage Settings

The postage settings tab has a number of other tabs include within it. This ensures that you have as much control and customisation over postage as possible. The tabs included are:
If you choose ‘Yes’ then a price chart will appear for you to fill out.
All you need to do here is fill out your chosen options. You can also add more options by choosing ‘Add New Type’ and another field will appear for you to fill out. If you would also like to add in the ‘Advanced Options’ section, then choose the ‘Configure’ button to edit those options.
Remember to click Save Postage Types if you have made any changes on this tab.
Within this tab, you can choose to add some locations for click and collect. This is useful if you have multiple shops across the country. You can also add an interactive map with your location on it. If you would like to add more locations, just choose the ‘Add New Location’ button.
Don’t forget to ‘Save Locations’ when you are finished.
Here you can choose to add your price charts. You can add multiple price charts and multiple rows per chart. These can also be assigned to different postage options.

Default
Within the default postage settings tab, you will find some general postage settings, these include:- Override shipping summary
- Set your local country
- Use default settings if no shipping options are available
- No shipping options available message
- Postage range/restrictions (choose from worldwide, specific postcodes)
- Postage base rate
- Set the rate as:
Overseas Postage Rates
- Europe
- Rest of the world
- Set overseas postage rate as (flat rate/ additional rate)
Postage Discounts
- Free shipping when postage is under (add in postage amount)
- Free shipping when total weight is under (add weight in grams)
- Free shipping when sub-total is over
- No free shipping
- Free shipping applies to
Postage Weight Settings
- Charge postage based on weight (yes/no)

Postage types
Here you can create multiple different shipping options, each with a different price and restrictions. If multiple shipping options are available based on the user’s details and cart, all available options will be displayed in the checkout process for the user to select.All you need to do here is fill out your chosen options. You can also add more options by choosing ‘Add New Type’ and another field will appear for you to fill out. If you would also like to add in the ‘Advanced Options’ section, then choose the ‘Configure’ button to edit those options.
